Is the 30% Solar Tax Credit Going Away?

Yes, according to the budget reconciliation bill introduced in Washington last week.

While this isn’t a law yet, it’s a serious possibility and we want to help you be prepared to take advantage of any available incentives while you can.

At OnSite Energy, we’re tracking this closely and advocating alongside our industry partners to keep solar incentives in place. If this proposal moves forward, the 30% tax credit would disappear at the end of this year. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and share updates and resources on how you can take action.

What does this mean for you?

If you’re thinking about going solar, now is the time to act. To qualify for the credit, your system must be placed in service in 2025. With limited space in our installation queue, we recommend starting the process today to secure your spot.
